These are different types of vehicle control modules—essentially the computers that manage key systems in your car:
ECM (Engine Control Module) manages engine performance and efficiency
PCM (Powertrain Control Module) oversees both the engine and transmission systems
BCM (Body Control Module) controls functions like power windows, lights, and locks
TCM (Transmission Control Module) regulates how your transmission shifts gears
Programming these modules means updating or reconfiguring their software to correct errors, improve performance, or ensure compatibility with replaced parts. Your vehicle may need programming after repairs, part replacements, or if you're experiencing system-related issues that diagnostics link to the module’s software.

Yes, payment is still required for the programming service. We will provide confirmation that the updates were completed successfully. If the issue persists, it may be due to another underlying problem that requires advanced diagnostics. Diagnostic services are separate and not included in the programming fee. For best results, we recommend scheduling a diagnostic service before proceeding with programming.
